Product Description
Helizone introduces the all new 4 Channel 2.4 Ghz based Thunderbird! The Thunderbird not only can fly your typical 3 Channel direction Throttle Up and Down, Left and right direction, forward and backward, but can also fly Sideways! With a built in Gyro and solid frame, the Thunderbird is built upon the strength of its predecessors with added performance and features. Benefit from 3 Channel to Thunderbird: - 3 Channel relies its forward/backward speed based on the speed of the tail rotor. 4 Channel helicopters relies its direction and speed on the movement of the "swashplate." Because tail rotors are generally limited in power, 4 Channel helicopters are able to fly much faster! - 3 Channel are limited in range due to most being "infrared" based. Range is typically 20-30 feet and can only fly indoors. The Thunderbird is able to fly inside, and outside without any interference, with range up to 100+ feet. 2.4 Ghz benefits: The 2.4 Ghz based technology automatically syncs a frequency with the helicopter, so pilots no longer have to worry about frequency interference with other helicopters. The decrease in latency and longer in range of 2.4 makes the Thunderbird the ultimate Micro helicopter. Multiple thunderbirds can be flown in the same room, and in calm weather, can be flown outside without any interference.

Customer Reviews
1: For a micro helicopte this little thing is a blast. My first one came with a piece missing but no problem. I contacted the seller and he is mailing me the needed part. I bought the second just because I wanted the extra parts. I figured I was going to crash sooner or later. Well it was sooner. The heli survived without a scratch. Still flying great. Took a bit of time to get it trimmed. Still needs to be trimmed a little better. And yes I will buy another one from Halley R Us. They are so easy to work with. It says it takes about 90 minutes to charge but it only took 30 to 40. Flight time is what you'd expect. Around 6 to 7 minutes maybe a bit more. 4 channel is no joke, it's tough. That's why I bought an extra. But I am getting the hang of it and you need to fly 4 channel a lot if you plan to advance to 6 channel. I dont but thats just me. I'll add to this review if I need to but I dont think I will have to.
2: I had to come back and say something. This heli is just too much fun. If you have a larger or planning to get a larger 4 channel outdoor heli then a small indoor heli like this is a must. You can practice in the house and if you crash it so what, it's a low cost heli. Get another and use it for parts.
3. Well I finally did it. One crash too many. Here's some advice. Dont try to land on top of the ceiling fan. I got it done but really trashed the heli in the process. Thats OK cause I have another one for parts. Now we're back up and flying. These things can take a beating, be repaired and still fly. Pretty cool for a low cost helicopter. Might just buy another one.
After I had received a malfunctioning unit, the seller immediately shipped a new one to me at no charge. The new helicopter works flawlessly. I will note that the controls of this unit are very sensitive and the blades do not collapse on impact with an object like some lower cost RC helicopters. That's fine but, as a result, I would recommend this for older kids and adults who have a large, open space to fly the helicopter; it's not for young children or smaller spaces.
