I have purchased 23 different RC Helicopters since I fell in love with my very first one. Each one has it's good points and bad points. However, I have two favorites, one small sized (a Viefly) and now this mini. Once you set the vernier to keep it from spinning, You can enjoy flying it without having to keep adjusting it. The power knob is not spring loaded allowing you to set the power level without having to continually adjust it. it quickly reacts to the direction you want to fly it. This is an awesome helo. It comes with a usb cable to use as an option to re-charge besides using the remote and eating up your batteries. the remote is smaller than any of the other remotes I have seen so far which I really like. The only drawback to this helo is that it's a bit more fragile then any of my other ones. My son has broken two of them now (it's his favorite also as it's the easiest to fly - my son is only 6 years old and can fly this helo better than me. I would not recommend this model as your first rc helo due to it being very fragile however, as a second, third, absolutely. I recommend the Viefly as a good choice for a first rc helo. (beware of Syma. most of their models are not that stable. (read the reviews carefully). For a larger (outside helo) i recommend the Double Horse. But for the most stable (as long as no wind) it's got to be this one... Note, there are a lot I haven't purchased yet, (yet!) (yea, i'm hooked), but for now. Thumbs up, five stars for this one.

I bought two of these for the office so my coworker and myself could battle in the lobby. If you can get your helicopter on top of the other one, the force of the air slams the other one to the ground. We have been doing this daily for 3 weeks now and the little choppers are still flying great. My ONLY criticism is both of ours (since new) have a tendency to drift backwards when you hover them. I've had many 3 channel helicopters and if something small like that is the only thing you can find wrong with one....then you've got a great helicopter.
Just like anything in life, these are much more fun in pairs. heehee
