Customer Reviews
Okay let me just say this is an awesome indoor mini helicopter! I bought a micro mosquito and it is crap when compared to the Ox-Wolf! The rotors are a nice high impact plastic and you don't have to worry like you do with the super fragile aluminum rotors for the mosquito.
The Ox-Wolf also does a better job of hovering than the mosquito as well.
And if you fly too close to the ceiling, the rotors don't suck you up and keep you stuck on the ceiling. Just decrease your rotor speed and you will come down gradually, and keep flying, unlike the mosquito where you have to kill the rotor speed all out to come off the ceiling.
A great feature is that it resembles the famous AirWolf helicopter: "Lady."
For what you pay for one micro mosquito (not the rip offs,) you can buy 2 of these Ox-wolfs!
The only two down-side I will say about this wonderful little helicopter is that it does not have the flying time of the mosquito or even the Air Hogs Piccoo Z. (Flight time will last you around 6-7 mins with a decent charge time of around 10mins.)
And the blinking light on the nose that changes color is a bit annoying.
Other than those two minor flaws, you will have more fun flying this than the micro mosquito.
(I can't believe I am the 1st to write a review of this awesome mini helicopter!)
On the second day I owned this heli, a small gold weight flew off the stabilizer bar. I wrote the company and (to their credit)received a quick response. I was hoping for something like "Sorry about that, we'll send you a few of those no charge." Instead I was sent a link to buy an entire new blade assembly for $7.00. This I bought and was amazed to see that there were no instructions provided on how to install it. Does this company think we were born knowing how this heli goes together?
Add to that, the 2 assemblies I bought were indifferently tossed into a rather large box with no packing material. The message was clear "We have your money - that is what counts."
I realize we are in a kind of Dark Age of customer service, however this is an opportunity for this company to stand above the rest.
